Highlighting: Click on any of the bowl cells (bowl #, bowl name, date, time) to highlight that row. Click on the row again to toggle the highlighting off. Click on any player pick cell to highlight a column. Click on the player pick cell to toggle the highlighting off.
What-if projections: Click on any team name or team score cell to set that team as a winner and recalculate the totals based on that team winning. This can be done for already played games as well as yet to be played games. Note that this does not affect the master results - it only affects your local copy.
Resetting highlighting & what-if selections: There are two cells in the lower left portion of the grid that appear when rows/columns are highlighted or what-if scenarios are set up. One cell clears the highlighting and the other cell resets all scores back to their original values thereby resetting the what-if scenario.
Deviation From Mean: This is the relative difference between the success of a player's picks and the success of the collective average (i.e. power rating) for all games already decided (including what-if projections). This is arguably the best measure of a player's standing, especially in the early rounds where Current Total Points and Max Possible Points can be very deceptive due to variances in ranking usage.
Sorting: By default players are sorted by Current Total Points. To sort by Maximum Possible Points or Deviation From Mean, click on the respective cell. To return to sorting by Current Total Points, click on the Current Total Points cell.
Player Search: Pressing this button will pop up a text dialog where you can enter a player name to search for. The search is case insensitive. Only the leading portion of the player name needs to be entered.
Can I Still Cash: Click on a player's place cell to display a dialog that contains all possible combinations that result in cash positions for this player (i.e. finishing 1st thru 5th if more than 100 players or 1st thru 3rd if 100 players or less). This feature is only available when there are 15 or less undecided games. The What-if projections can be used in conjunction with this feature to reduce the number of undecided games. Shift-Left Click on the place cell will display potential winning combinations for the Homer Challenge (applies only to the Homer Challenge players that are highlighted in yellow).
